Rare and unreleased tracks by musicians with strong ties to Chicago are included on a downloadable Bandcamp mix to help a friend I have not seen in a couple of years but have known for a few years.  LA-based musician Brent Puls with medical bills stemming from a condition that he has had since childhood got seriously out of whack and it almost killed him. He's doing okay now, but that's only after a lot of $urgery.

The artists and bands include Joe Pug, Birdy on the Moon (featuring Wilco's Pat Sansone), JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, Tom Schrader, Clip Art, Rachael Yamagata and many more.
