Wavefront Music Festival, wrapped its second year this last weekend at Chicago’s Montrose Beach! There where 15 must see acts that we just had to catch! One of the highlights was the Legends Stage aka “DFA Stage” Friday night!
If you didn't make it out to Brooklyn for the DFA anniversary party last May, then Friday night would have been your best chance to catch Nancy Whang, Marcus Lambkin of Shit Robot, Pat Mahoney, Holy Ghost and James Murphy under one tent on the Montrose Beach sand. The Legends Stage was dedicated to the DFA artists who each played their own signature style disco grooves, while Holy Ghost! complemented the stage well with their modular & synthesizer gear setup. James Murphy ended the night with a disco inferno set w/ no other future dates of coming back as of yet...
