The first single from the long-awaited debut full-length album by Keep Shelly in Athens is equal parts sinister and syncopated. Winding its way through an urban landscape of flickering lights and downward glances, 'Madmen Love' builds slowly upwards, bursting into a procession of drums and angular guitar chords, before slinking back to its staccato footsteps. Keep Shelly in Athens' album will be released this Fall on Cascine/Sixteen Tambourines. The single is available to buy now as a limited edition 7 Inch which you can order HERE or via I-TUNES HERE

A transatlantic epistolary exchange between four friends. A song transformed into a film score and mailed across the Atlantic Ocean. The score interpreted using a single roll of tri-x 16mm film. The film exposed, rewound and re-exposed many times, developed and sent back across the Atlantic. A response was filmed and the two spliced together. Time passing. The feeling of time. Collapsing space. Collapsing time. Collapsing time and space. "Tiniest Seed" is available on Angel Olsen's LP "Half Way Home" from Bathetic Records
*16mm print available and recommended for screening purposes. This is the digital version.
US footage processed at Alpha Cine Seattle. Austrian footage hand-processed at the filmkoop wien. 2K film scan by Synchro Vienna.

“Forever Still is directly inspired by Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii. We wanted to perform in a non-typical setting without losing the spirit of our music. We felt the songs would resonate in a more majestic and spiritual landscape. The experience was an intense three nights of filming. Everyone involved in production and crew was benevolent in their time and talented in their efforts. We were very lucky to have the help and hard work of many people who aided and lent their abilities to our vision. The basic concept is four songs performed from sunset to sunrise. We tried to keep the edits minimal with long takes in order to focus on the energy of the songs, the landscape, and the physicality of live performance. The entire film was shot in or around Tornillo, Texas, where we recorded Bloom. Like Bloom, we hope that Forever Still is experienced as a whole, long form.
