Nicolas Jaar dropped a free, slick, dubby track on his label’s
Clown and Sunset Soundcloud. “The Ego” features Jaar’s nocturnal electronic work underneath a monologue from a voice known as
Theater Roosevelt, or “
Teddy’s ghost”. The deep voice culls together what appear to be soundbites from the 2012 Election in a thick Jamaican accent, which is probably the most fun you’ll ever have while hearing the words “a-let Detroit go bankrupt.” Check out the track below.
