ALBERT HAMMOND JR TALKS TO C.O.S. WHILE DIGGING FOR RECORDS AT RECKLESS

A little over a week ago Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes was in town and played to a sold out crowd at Double Door... The folks over at C.O.S. took him record shopping over at Reckless Records and he spoke candidly about his new EP, Cult Records, touring and whats he has in store for the future! AHJ by Albert Hammond Jr is out now on Cult Records and available at Reckless Records Chicago.

VIDEO: RATHBOURNE - SOFT

This past September, Rathborne released Soft, an 11-track debut album... Now, the New York City foursome lead by singer-guitarist Luke Rathborne, bassist Darren Will, drummer Jamie Alegre, and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Giannopoulos just released the video for the title track "Soft". The video is directed by Jack Schurman, and features Luke singing and playing guitar with some tripped out psychedelic visuals. The album is out now on True Believer and is available via I-Tunes HERE. The guys are also currently on the road and have a string of shows lined up alongside Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., who mixed and co-produced the album "Soft with Gus Oberg.

VIDEO: RATHBORNE - LAST FORGIVEN

Devendra Banhart once said "After hearin’ his album, I proposed to him and asked him to play a show with us in Philly." That's Luke Rathborne he's talking about and the album is called Soft!
