Human lives are comprised of memories, and like bubbles they appear in all forms and colors, shifting shapes as they float. The video for "Recollection" is about confronting those memories, where we follow a world-worn woman along a very personal path. She has a story to tell, things to reconcile - like all of us. "Recollection" is from Keep Shelly in Athens' new album, At Home, out now on Cascine. The duo are currently on tour with label mates, Chad Valley, and stop at the Empty Bottle in Chicago this Friday October 18th and we have a pair of tickets to giveaway via our Facebook page HERE!

The first single from the long-awaited debut full-length album by Keep Shelly in Athens is equal parts sinister and syncopated. Winding its way through an urban landscape of flickering lights and downward glances, 'Madmen Love' builds slowly upwards, bursting into a procession of drums and angular guitar chords, before slinking back to its staccato footsteps. Transparent just released a new FREE Keep Shelly in Athens digital EP, featuring remixes of the duo’s latest sold-out 7″.

Remixes from Blood Diamonds, D. Paris & a really interesting Maria Minerva rework, in which she uses some old Spice Girls jam karaoke-style sample over a warped version of “Song to Cheer You Up.” Really good stuff!
